Creates a Australian television super-awards with multi-platform media opportunities

SYDNEY, New South Wales, April 1, 2007 - TV Week magazine, the organiser of the annual Logie awards, announced today that after 5 years of negotiations it has come to terms via a private equity funded buy-out to acquire the assets of the TV Fugly Awards. The Fuglies, as they have become known, is a annual awards event focused on recognising bad aspects (Worst TV Show and Most Over-exposed Personality) of the Australian television industry.

Once both events are merged, the total number of votes recorded is expected to reach a record number for a Australian television awards nomination/voting process (exact figures will not published).
